Yamaha FJR 1300 A, AS

The FJR1300 (2006-2012) is Yamaha’s large capacity sport touring machine. Equipped with a large inline four 1300cc.

It was introduced in 2001 but didn’t arrive to the North American market until the following year. ABS was left off the first models, but from 2004 onwards it became an option.

Yamaha claim their new FJR 1300 has the chassis performance of a sportsbike along with the ergonomic amenities of a long-distance touring machine.

But one feature that stands this machine in the touring category is the maintenance (almost) free shaft final drive.

In 2006, Yamaha launched a revised, or Gen II, FJR1300. It featured a revised look and some internal changes to make it nicer for riders. Starting with the 2006 models Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) and a linked braking scheme Yamaha calls 'Unified Braking System' (UBS) became standard.

Ventura’s Bike-Pack System is the perfect accompaniment for commuting or touring on the Yamaha FJR1300. The system allows riders to choose from luggage options starting at just 9 liters with combinations to allow over 100 liters of capacity. The Bike-Pack system is the most versatile motorcycle luggage available.
